Caregiving turns the people you love into a to-do list. Did Mom take her pills? Did Dad eat today? Did anyone call? We help take logistics off caregivers' plates, so that when they do call, the conversation is about the winning goal in the World Cup, not whether someone even remembered to watch it.
We encrypt everything, we don't sell data, and we don't show ads to seniors. You pay a subscription and that's the whole arrangement. We treat our users' trust the way we'd want someone to treat our own parents' trust.
Donna is an AI assistant, not a replacement for family.
We don't pretend otherwise.
Older adults have gotten the least value from AI. Most of tech assumes seniors can't or won't use what we build. We reject that. Who says you can't build an assistant for seniors? What would seniors actually want if someone bothered to ask?
There's no singular solution to loneliness in aging, not even Donna. But if we can play a modest role in helping older adults feel more connected, we've done our job.
This isn't a market opportunity we identified from a pitch deck. We built Donna because our own families needed it. That shows up in the details.
